Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published (in whole or in part) nor has it been considered by any other journal (or an explanation or comment has been provided to the editor regarding this).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF.
- Where available, URLs for the bibliographical references have been provided.
- The text must comply with the requirements that appear in the document whose link we share in "Guidelines for authors"
Scientific articles
Scientific articles are original research contributions, significant in terms of the new knowledge generated, following the scientific method, involving clear objectives, a detailed methodology that allows the research to be reproduced, pertinent statistical analysis supporting the results, presentation of results and their discussion. The names of the sections that are numbered in a scientific article are: introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, acknowledgments (optional), and references. They should not exceed 18 pages.
Review articles
Review articles are the presentation and critical discussion of the updated literature on a topic, with the addition of the author's own conclusions. The names of the sections that are numbered in them are: introduction, conclusion, and references. The journal publishes literature reviews of up to 25 pages.
Brief communications
Brief Communications are short research articles, progress reports on projects with partial or preliminary results, or descriptions of new techniques.
